Joel D. Robbins MD, FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Joel Robbins did his undergraduate studies at Indiana University, graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He did basic science research and completed graduate level courses in Neuroscience at Washington University in St. Louis upon graduation from college. In 2000, he received his medical degree from Rush University graduating in the top 15% of his medical school class. Dr. Robbins completed his internal medicine residency in 2003 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. In 2001, he received the Robert Winter Resident Teacher Award. Remaining at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, he completed his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases in 2006 and an additional fellowship in interventional cardiology in 2007. Dr. Robbins has multiple publications in peer review journals and has helped coauthor medical book chapters.
Dr. Robbins has been in private practice since 2007. He is happily married to his college sweetheart and has 3 children. In his free time, he likes to read, run, travel, and watch his kids’ sports events.
